Events Project Coordinator
Job purpose
The Project Coordinator supports the Events Project Manager in the execution of the Oikocredit 50th Anniversary Celebration project. This role is focused on coordinating tasks, creating content, and ensuring timely and effective implementation of the project’s activities. The Project Officer will play a hands-on role in executing project deliverables, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and using tools and platforms to manage and produce high-quality outputs.
The Project Officer will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of the Oikocredit 50th Anniversary Celebrations by supporting the Events Project Manager with hands-on coordination, content creation, and logistical execution.
Result areas of the job
The Project Coordinator will:
- Assist the Events Project Manager in coordinating the 50th-anniversary project, ensuring assigned tasks are executed on schedule and to a high standard.
- Manage logistics and administrative tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Support the creation of event-related content and materials, including written, visual, and multimedia content, using tools such as Canva, Adobe, or other creative platforms.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and gather necessary input.
- Maintain project tools, track progress against timelines, and identify and report potential risks or delays.
- Handle the operational aspects of events, including vendor liaison, material preparation, and on-the-day support.
- Ensure adherence to Oikocredit’s branding, messaging, and sustainability guidelines in all project outputs.
Education, skills, and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant project coordination experience, preferably in event management or communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as creative tools such as Canva or Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience creating visual and written content for events or communications.
- Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in another language such as Dutch, German, French, or Spanish being an advantage.

Additional remarks
This temporary role is open for 24-32 hours a week until the end of December 2025.
