About the job
For our Communications team composed of six team members, we are looking for an events/project coordinator intern ( 32-40 hours) to be based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.
The start date will be in May 2025 or shortly after, for a period of 4 – 6 months.
Main responsibilities
- Working closely with the project manager on the planning and project implementation of the 50th anniversary of Oikocredit
- Planning and supporting the production of communications and event materials
- Creating event toolkits for regional and local events
- Supporting with the coordination of stakeholders involved in the project
- Supporting with any other tasks relevant to the project
Qualifications
- Students enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree programme in the Netherlands in the field of communications, marketing, management or related
- A strong interest in development finance
- Some (work) experience in events, communications and/or marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, other languages (French, Spanish) will be considered an asset
- Excellent command of MS Office
- Strong attention to detail, time management and self-organisation skills
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment

- You will receive an internship allowance amounting to €500 gross per month for Master students and €400 gross per month for Bachelor’s students, on the basis of 40 hours per week. In case the number of hours is less, the allowance will be calculated pro rata.
- In case you do not have a public transport (OV) subscription, Oikocredit will reimburse travel expenses on the base of second class public transport.
We also offer the possibility to write a thesis if this is required by your studies
