About the job
We are currently seeking a highly motivated intern (32-40 hours) to join the Risk Analysis Unit (RAU) team based in our head office in Amersfoort. RAU belongs to the Risk department (second-line of defence) and is responsible for assessing credit and equity investment proposals incoming from our field offices globally following a triple bottom-line risk approach (financial, social and environmental performance). In addition, the unit is actively involved in improvement initiatives related to the credit approval process, policies & procedures, risk and rating tools, among several others.
The start date will be in June 2025 for a period of 6 months.
Main responsibilities
- Provide support in the management of our risk tools including the credit risk rating model (i.e. generation of ratings and process documentation).
- Support the RAU team in the design and creation of new monitoring reports in Power BI.
- Support with any other tasks related to initiatives developed within the Unit to improve processes & risk tools.
Qualifications
- Student enrolled in a bachelor or master’s degree program in the Netherlands in the field of finance, economics, business administration or similar.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power Query, and Power Bi is a must.
- Excellent command of MS Office.
- Strong interest in credit risk management, impact investing and/or development finance.
- Strong attention to detail, good time management and self-organization skills.
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable working partially in a remote environment.

- You will receive an internship allowance amounting to €500 gross per month for Master students and €400 gross per month for Bachelor’s students, on the basis of 40 hours per week. In case the number of hours is less, the allowance will be calculated pro rata.
- In case you do not have a public transport (OV) subscription, Oikocredit will reimburse travel expenses on the base of second class public transport.
