Are you a creative marketer with a passion for purpose-driven work? Oikocredit is looking for a hands-on marketing professional to support our team on a temporary basis.
We’re seeking a temporary marketing professional to cover a maternity leave.
About the department
The global marketing unit is responsible for supporting the markets in the capital raising activities and ensuring the quality and consistency of the client-facing materials.
Main responsibilities
Content: Request and oversee the content creation of the material required to execute the marketing strategy in their region via the Oikocredit internal agency. Create briefings based on the local personas and with a clear understanding of the local distribution channels. Do the final checks, feedback and approval rounds of the content.
Social media: Create a content calendar for organic social media based on the personas. Run and monitor social media ads according to the marketing plan.
Events: Manage the logistics of online and physical events in your region, including the promotion and lead follow-up phases.
Email: Execute the email campaigns and newsletters based on the marketing plan with the support of the Oikocredit internal agency.
SEM and SEO: Coordinate and execute paid campaigns and content creation for organic search engines as required.
Other marketing channels: coordinate and execute campaigns via other marketing channels as required ( PR, print, etc.)
Lead management: Monitor and improve the lead nurturing flows in Marketing Cloud.
Marketing calendar: Keep the calendar of the marketing activities up to date.
Education, skills and experience
- Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in the field of marketing, finance, or other relevant discipline.
- All-rounded marketer with experience in different marketing channels.
- Minimum 5-6 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, ideally in the finance or social impact industries.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels and ability to execute campaigns.
- Good understanding of demand and lead generation.
- Results-oriented and customer-centric mindset.
- Fluency in German (native speaker) and English.
- Desirable: experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar.

Additional Remarks
This temporary assignment is to cover maternity leave and will continue until December 2026.
The role is open for 40 hours a week.
Location: one of our German offices (Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg, Nürnberg, Braunschweig, Bonn)
Flexibility; willingness to travel within the country/internationally occasionally and willing to work during event in the weekend/evenings.
