About the job
As Product Owner Artificial Intelligence you are responsible for defining and delivering AI-driven services that align with the strategic vision of Oikocredit. This role collaborates closely with business stakeholders, IT Delivery teams, Enterprise Architect, Compliance, and Information Security to ensure the successful implementation of AI solutions. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between technology and business, ensuring that AI services deliver exceptional value to our customers.
Main responsibilities
Product vision and strategy: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for AI-enabled and/or driven services.
Feature prioritization: Prioritize service features based on customer needs, market trends, and business goals.
Stakeholder collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, marketing, customer support and development teams, to gather requirements and feedback.
Product roadmap: Create and maintain a roadmap for the incorporation of AI technology in our services that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
Agile development: Work closely with development teams, Information Security Office, Compliance and other analyst and architecture roles to ensure timely and efficient delivery of service features using Agile methodologies.
Architecture alignment: Ensure AI solutions are based on proper architecture designs, utilizing ArchiMate for Business, Application, and Technology Layer modelling.
Performance monitoring: Monitor service performance and user feedback to continuously improve the service.
Education, skills and experience
Vocational (equal to ‘HBO-level’ in the Netherlands) or academic degree in Information Management, Information Technology, data engineering or a relevant field
Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar position
Knowledge of and experience with product ownership and software development
Knowledge of and experience with data analytics, data literacy & governance; (a) Data quality, lineage, minimization, anonymization/pseudonymization, metadata, and stewardship practices.
Knowledge of and experience with AI/ML technologies and their applications. (a) Understand model types, data requirements, training vs. inference, evaluation metrics, and typical failure modes (bias, drift, hallucinations) (b) Define and interpret metrics and set robust acceptance criteria. (c) Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD for models, API-based deployment, versioning of models/datasets, and incident/runbook practices. (d) Practical experience with generative AI tools, prompt engineering, model configuration, and evaluation tooling.
Knowledge of and experience with AI compliance frameworks, ethical considerations, and security. (a)Apply frameworks for fairness, accountability, transparency; (b) Address threats like prompt injection, data leakage, model poisoning; (c) ensure alignment with GDPR, EU AI Act, sector regulations.
Knowledge of and experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks
Knowledge of and experience with ArchiMate modelling
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience in conducting market research
Fluent in English

Additional remarks
The role is open for 36 hours a week (0,9 fte).
