About the department
Our Treasury team plays a key role in safeguarding Oikocredit’s financial health by managing liquidity, financial risks, capital structure, and relationships with financial institutions.
Deliverables in the Treasury department are:

Interest rate risk management;
Liquidity management;

Funding Strategy and Debt Management;
Capital Structure Management;
Financial Counterparty Risk Management;
Treasury Policy Development and Documentation;
Bank Relationship Management.
About the job
As our new Treasury Analyst, you help secure Oikocredit’s financial stability by turning data and market insights into meaningful analysis and actionable strategies. You support the management of liquidity, interest rate and foreign exchange risks, funding activities, and bank relationships.
Your work directly enables Oikocredit to operate responsibly, efficiently, and with the resilience required to support partners worldwide.
Main responsibilities
Risk & Exposure Management
Monitor and analyse FX and interest rate exposures.
Support execution of hedging strategies and ensure alignment with risk limits.
Prepare regular risk reports for decision-making.
Liquidity & Cash Management
Analyse daily and forecasted liquidity needs.
Support cash positioning and short-term liquidity planning.
Cover the Cash Manager role during absences.
Funding & Capital Support
Contribute to funding analyses, debt management, and interest cost evaluations.
Maintain and report on Oikocredit’s debt portfolio.
Counterparty & Policy Governance
Assess financial counterparty risks.
Support documentation and updates of treasury policies.
Ensure operational compliance with regulations and audit standards.
Bank Relationship & Reporting
Prepare documentation for financial institutions and monitor bank performance.
Produce treasury-related reporting for senior management and the ALCO committee.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to optimize treasury processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen risk management.
Education, skills and experience
You are analytical, detail-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic international setting. You bring:
Experience in corporate treasury (front-, middle- or back-office)
Strong knowledge of cash flows, FX operations, and financial instruments
Solid accounting understanding
Proven reporting and analytical skills
IT savviness and comfort navigating treasury systems
Strong English communication skills
A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to think globally
