About the job
The Head of Data & Innovation leads the vision, strategy and execution of data, analytics and digital innovation across the Inflow organisation. The role ensures that Oikocredit has reliable, compliant and actionable data, strong business intelligence products, and lean, high‑impact digital improvements that modernise the investor experience.
This role manages a small, high-performing team and acts as the strategic link between Inflow, Marketing & Communications, IT & Data, Investor Support and senior leadership—ensuring that decision-making is data-powered, investor journeys evolve continuously, and innovations are practical, scalable and cost-effective.
Main responsibilities
Lead data intelligence to strengthen inflow performance
Ensure Inflow receives reliable, accurate and compliant data for decision-making.
Analyse investor behaviour, audience performance and inflow trends across markets.
Deliver clear insight narratives that translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations.
Oversee data governance for Inflow and ensure GDPR‑aligned data use.
Own the lifecycle of inflow-related data products
Lead the development, prioritisation and evolution of dashboards, datasets and reporting tools.
Maintain a unified inflow-wide roadmap for data and digital improvements.
Translate business and investor needs into structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
Drive continuous improvement and adoption of data products through training and engagement.
Identify CRM data gaps and business requirements for Salesforce and related systems.
Drive lean digital innovation that modernises the investor experience
Acts as Product Owner for all investor facing processes.
Prioritise low-cost, high-impact enhancements that improve investor journeys.
Lead small-scale pilots, experiments and prototypes to validate improvements.
Improve the usability and effectiveness of MyOikocredit, Salesforce and related touchpoints.
Translate investor and staff needs into clear requirements for IT and external suppliers.
Maximise the value of existing tools before recommending new systems.
Strengthen data processes, quality and efficiency
Improve data capture, structure and completeness across platforms.
Automate recurring reporting and streamline integration of new data sources (GA, Marketing Cloud, Meta).
Ensure governance, documentation and quality assurance for BI and analytics outputs.
Maintain continuous feedback loops to enhance data flow efficiency and reliability.
Act as the strategic connector between inflow, digital and data capabilities
Partner with Audience Teams, Marketing, Investor Support and IT & Data to align on priorities and improvements.
Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops and backlog alignment.
Provide senior leadership with insights, forecasts and strategic analysis.
Enable practical innovation by applying lean methods and evidence-based decision-making.
Education, skills and experience
7–10+ years in analytics, BI, data strategy or digital innovation, including leadership responsibility.
Strong proficiency in BI tools (Power BI preferred) and solid understanding of SQL and data modelling.
Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, Marketing Cloud).
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Ability to translate complex data and digital requirements into actionable business needs.
Excellent communication skills; fluent in English.

Additional remarks
The position is based in the Netherlands. Candidates currently based elsewhere in Europe are welcome, provided they are willing to relocate.
The role is ideally full-time, though a 32-hour contract is also an option.
