Cooperative Advisor
A temporary Cooperative Advisor who supports the Members’ Council in its role as a bridge between our members and governance bodies.
About the job
To function as the Secretary of the Member’s Council, the body of the Cooperative that strives to strengthen Oikocredit’s cooperative identity and serves as a bridge between members and the governance boards, such as the Managing Board and Supervisory Board.
Main responsibilities
Organizational support of the monthly MC and working group meetings.
Coordinate with Oikocredit staff and play a key role in the transition of the Members’ Counsil to a central governance hub for member engagement, with clearer roles and responsibilities, a more structural interaction between members and management.
Further streamline communication and feedback loops.
Support the Cooperative Advisor with member relations, the onboarding of new members, organizing member-related events and webinars and the monthly newsletter.
Education, skills and experience
Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably with Support Association or Cooperatives.
Fluency in English.
In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite.
Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
Hands-on and adaptive.
Able to communicate with a wide group of stakeholders with different cultural or professional backgrounds.
Professional level verbal and written communications skills.
Additional remarks
The role is open for 24-32 hours and will be available from June until December 2026.
