The High Value Investor Relationship Manager is responsible for driving investment growth and maintaining relationships within a portfolio of high-value investors. This role focuses on an audience-first approach, ensuring each investor receives personalized communication and service in their preferred language. The High Value Relationship Manager executes engagement strategies to convert prospects into investors, encourage additional investments from existing clients, and provide exceptional support to maximize investor satisfaction and long-term commitment.
Working under the guidance of the Head of High Value Investors, they collaborate with internal teams to align their efforts with overall strategic goals and the mission of Oikocredit.
Main responsibilities
Lead Creation & Conversion:
Identify and pursue high-value investor leads by leveraging market research, referrals, events, and partnerships.
Engage prospective investors with compelling, mission-aligned investment storytelling that resonates with their values and language, converting prospects into active investors in Oikocredit’s offerings.
Follow up diligently on all assigned leads and opportunities, ensuring timely communication and customizing the approach for each potential investor to maximize conversion rates.
Investor Relationship Management:
Maintain and grow a portfolio of high-value investors, building trust-based relationships through regular, personalized contact (calls, meetings, updates) tailored to each investor’s preferences and cultural context.
Develop individual engagement plans for each investor to encourage increased investment (top-ups) and prolonged commitment, including introducing relevant new opportunities (such as legacy investments or new products) at appropriate times in the investor’s journey.
Act as a primary point of contact for your investors, proactively addressing their needs and queries, and ensuring a positive, responsive experience that underpins their loyalty to Oikocredit.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Marketing and Communications to ensure that high-value investors receive segmented content (e.g. reports, newsletters, campaigns) in their preferred language and aligned with their interests. Share insights from investor interactions to help refine marketing strategies and materials.
Coordinate with the Events Coordinator and contribute to high-value investor events (planning, inviting investors, and post-event follow-up) to maximize engagement and lead generation from these activities.
Partner with Investor Support and relevant country or regional teams to navigate any operational or service issues for investors (such as account set-up, transactions, or compliance requirements), ensuring seamless service and regulatory compliance.
Performance Tracking & Improvement:
Track key metrics for your accounts, including total invested capital, new investments, redemptions, and engagement frequency. Use Oikocredit’s CRM and analytics tools to monitor progress against targets and investor behaviors.
Report on performance regularly to the Head of High Value Investors, highlighting achievements, challenges, and insights. Use data to adjust your approach – for example, prioritizing outreach to lapsed investors or adjusting tactics for higher conversion.
Continuous improvement: Propose and implement ideas to enhance the high-value investor experience (such as new communication approaches or service enhancements). Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings in the impact investing and sustainable finance space to inform your engagement tactics.
Education, skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, communications or a related field.
5+ years of experience in fundraising, sales, account management, or client relationship management, preferably in financial services, impact investing, or nonprofit fundraising targeting high-net-worth individuals.
Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients or investors, with a track record of meeting investment or sales targets and maintaining strong client relationships.
Solid understanding of financial products and an ability to navigate basic regulatory/compliance aspects related to investment offerings.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and storytelling skills, capable of articulating value propositions in a way that aligns with an investor’s values and language.
Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to develop and follow through on structured plans while remaining adaptable to changing investor needs or market conditions.
Fluency in German and English required.

The minimum gross monthly salary is €4340,13 based on a fulltime employment with potential adjustments based on qualifications and experience.
You will be offered a permanent contract for 28 hours per week.
