Consultant Client Survey Programme
We are seeking an experienced consultant to position the Client Survey Programme as a marketable product and service.
Description of the Project:
Oikocredit is a global social impact investor focused on markets in Africa, Asia, Latin America & the Caribbean.
In 2026, Oikocredit is implementing the sixth year of its Client Self Perception Survey Programme (ECS), a large-scale initiative designed to generate end client level insights across its global partner network. As one of the most extensive outcomes data efforts in the impact investing sector, the Programme represents a significant milestone in both scale and ambition. Beyond its quantitative reach, the Programme has evolved substantially in scope and sophistication, transitioning from an internal technical assistance offering into a structured and standardized solution that can be applied across sectors.
The Programme provides a comprehensive package that integrates data collection, analysis, and practical application. Through a combination of structured workshops, user-friendly tools, and guided knowledge transfer processes, organizations are supported in strategic decision making.
Oikocredit identified in 2025 the potential to position the ECS Programme as a product and service offering accessible to both existing partners and external organizations. To ensure the Programme’s sustainable growth and broader adoption, there is a need to establish a clear and commercialisation strategy. Such a strategy should define the product offering, identify and segment target clients across sectors, establish a competitive and value based pricing approach, and outline an effective sales and customer journey. It will focus on the foundational work that will enable the ECS Programme to be positioned effectively and to deliver value to a diverse range of organizations seeking to better understand and serve their clients.
Purpose of the Services:
1. To support Oikocredit in defining and structuring the Client Self Perception Survey Programme (ECS) as a clear, ready product, by translating its existing components into a coherent offering that includes well articulated product packages, a differentiated value proposition, and tailored solutions for distinct audience segments across financial inclusion, agriculture, and renewable energy sectors.
2. To develop a comprehensive commercialisation strategy, including the design of a pricing approach aligned with value and target organizations, the identification and prioritisation of audience segments, the definition of appropriate sales and delivery model scenarios, and the mapping of an end to end customer journey from initial engagement to implementation and follow-up ensuring adoption, usability, and sustained demand for the Programme.
Type of work
Building on the Programme’s evolution from an internal technical assistance initiative to a standardized, cross sector solution, the work will focus on translating its existing technical, analytical, and capacity building components into a clearly structured offering that can be consistently delivered, positioned, and scaled across diverse markets.
The approach will combine strategic analysis, product development, and market oriented design, ensuring that the Programme is not only clearly defined but also aligned with client needs and market dynamics. This includes strengthening the Programme’s positioning as a high value client insights solution, clarifying how it differentiates from comparable offerings, and ensuring that its value is effectively communicated to both existing partners and new audiences. Particular attention will be given to making the product accessible, relevant, and adaptable across sectors such as financial inclusion, agriculture, and renewable energy.
In addition, the assignment will establish a comprehensive framework that enables effective introduction and adoption of the Programme. This includes defining target client segments, developing a pricing approach aligned with value and willingness to pay, outlining a practical sales and engagement model, and designing a seamless customer journey. The work will be grounded in evidence and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring alignment with Oikocredit’s broader impact objectives while delivering a clear and implementable roadmap for launching and scaling the ECS Programme as a sustainable service offering.
