HR Operations Specialist

About the job
The HR Operations Specialist ensures the accurate administration of employee data, HR processes, payroll, and benefits within the HRIS. The HR Operations Specialists maintain data integrity, deliver efficient employee services, ensure regulatory compliance, and continuously improve HR processes to provide a seamless employee experience.
Main responsibilities
1- HR support:
Providing responsive, customer-focused first-line HR support to employees, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality service and commitment to employee satisfaction,
Delivering a welcoming and efficient onboarding experience for new colleagues,
Maintaining and continuously improving internal HR information sources, including the People Hub, employment conditions, policies, and procedures,
Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR services and processes to enhance the employee experience and service quality.
2- HR Administration:
Managing payrolls, liaising with the external payroll provider, finance department and HRBPs,
Preparing employment agreements and other administrative documentation for employees,
Processing HR administrative tasks such as 30% facility, sickness management, visa application or tax declaration.
Be the 1st contact for external partners (HRIS, ARBO, UWV, tax authorities, IND…)
3- Data, tools and process management:
Optimizing and aligning HR processes, tools and systems,
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement of tools and processes,
Managing HRIS employee database system,
Ensuring qualitative reporting.
Education, skills and experience
Vocational degree with 6-8 years of experience or a bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years’ experience in HR Operations, HR shared services, HR administration including HRIS and payroll experience in an international environment.
Excellent IT skills, confident in the use of Microsoft Office (especially excel and word) and the ability to work with databases.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to create and implement administrative processes, process improvements and prioritize workload.
Experience with continuous process improvement methods such as Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
Strong risk awareness and ability to define adequate controls.
Native-level or near-native proficiency in Dutch, both spoken and written. Good working knowledge of English.

Additional remarks
The role is open for 32-40 hours per week.
